Pilgrim of the Silent Shade

Image
Alone I tread this merry, unrelenting land; If friend I profess, it’s but mine own dark shade. No fluttering wing nor love does take my hand, Nor heart reveal repose in bonds that joy has made. Through tranquil ways I walk with folded arms, Ah, a pilgrim sworn to no appointed end; My bosom bears a grief unknown to charms, A heart-led soul whom fate will never bend. Beside the lake I stand, the breezes sigh, As trembling murmurs through the waters move; Behind me quietude, before me vapors lie, With no ear to hear the tale I long to prove. Thus in life’s crowded fairs I still remain, Alone with self, this silence, my domain ---Affaq  -#ArtistAffaqOnYouTube -#ArtistAffaqOnInstagram -#PoetAffaqOnFacebook -#PoetAffaqOnPinterest -#ArtistAffaqOnLinkedIn -#PoetAffaqPoemHunter #ForeverSonnets #LyricalSonnets #DewsOfMorning #PoetryLovers  #PoetryCommunity #ArtLover  #CreativeArt  #ArtCommunity #BlogLife  #BloggerAffaq  #ContentWriterAffaq #GoogleBlogAffa...

Neelum

Image
Neelum (beautiful sapphire, eyes always cherish  Neelum is a resting place. of this blue shimmer. Where joy lulls into eyes the joy,   and worries vanish. Like dim, dusky clouds from the crystal mirror. While the happy day sinks into sweet night,   My purple past prime comes into caring eye Like the leaves on a willow tree in twilight  O! you love!  though not yours but you yourself,  Hither live, the beauty that you bear on lease,   Notice no prejudice or apartheid,   my love;   When you bear a baby! You know: half piece, She may receive its nude beauty in heirs'y  You be mine love, she will use its sapphire treasury. ----Affaq -#ArtistAffaqOnYouTube -#ArtistAffaqOnInstagram -#PoetAffaqOnFacebook -#PoetAffaqOnPinterest -#ArtistAffaqOnLinkedIn -#PoetAffaqPoemHunter #ForeverSonnets #LyricalSonnets #DewsOfMorning #PoetryLovers  #PoetryCommunity #ArtLover  #CreativeArt  #ArtCommunity #Blog...

Musings

Image
Enchanting soul, your visage unveils so slow, Like timid luna that falters from veiling cloud; As youth in me awakes, you now bestow A modest mercy, half-hidden, not too proud. I wake at midnight—O angel dear, let me rest; Through hasty hours I scan my drained day. What heavy horror upon your mind is pressed, To seal your lips and whisk your words away? I stand ensnared by musings the world has sown, While you speak sweet of spring’s arriving roam; Your heart lives light, on trembling dewlight grown, Still rain brings no such fullness to my home. You chide love’s name, and fright its rising flame, But from that fright, I craft love’s hallowed name. -----Affaq #PoetryOfAffaq #AffaqThePoet #SonnetsOfAffaq #PoeticVibesAffaq #AffaqPoeticJourney #LovePoemsAffaq #PoetryCommunity  #ForeverSonnets

The Waves (Lyrical Video)

Image
And you ask me when I shall return to you!  How can the wave decide the sea’s own hour? My inner self leans toward heaven’s hue, A reed bent singing in His lurking power. I’ll come when rain remembers how to fall, When ponds bloom with moving breaths of gold, And shore-birds praise the zephyr till fear turns small, When storms forget the sidewalks they controlled. Be patient, Pumpkin; waiting is a better prayer; The seed knows sullen before it learns the sun. I do walk where the rapture holds me unaware— And a moth still circling till the glow is won. When Love permits, we’ll draw life’s boat as one, And dearest find we met before the world begun. A Waiting Rapture

And you ask me when I shall return to you!  How can the wave decide the sea’s own hour? My inner is not my own; it leans toward God, A reed bent singing in His lurking power. I’ll come when rain remembers how to fall, When ponds bloom with moving breaths of gold, And shore-birds praise the zephyr till fear turns small, When storms forget the sidewalks they controlled. Be patient, sweet; waiting is a better prayer; The seed knows sullen before it learns the sun. I do walk where the rapture holds me unaware— And a moth still circling till the glow is won. When Love permits, we’ll draw life’s boat as one, And dearest find we met before the world begun. ---Affaq  #Sonnets #ForeverSonnets #PoetAffaq #SonnetsOfAffaq #MysticPoetry #Rapture
