Spring valley

Image
Ecce, the spring vale in lap of the great Mons,  Here the bird sings salvation song day and night.  Here the camellia and crocus inhales happy  Breaths, here the woodwinds play  paradisal music  With razorbills, the birds of our pearly seas. And amidst these, mine tranquil heart repeats  It's forgotten days of melancholy they have gone  Enough away like these fatigued evening clouds Returning to some unknown Island, And their coming seems to me, out of question. Quite handsome is this dale for penning  A love elegy, it's cut off from the  worlds of  Turmoil, of conflicts between the classes  Of high and low, quite away from injustice,  Inequity, or plagues of envy and  xenophilia. Here, the nature sings round the clock,  Melodiam of harmony and his singleness. My heart yearns to lie on its woven grass, Here is the complete remedy to my frenzy. Roots

Latest poem by Janice Fisher ROOTS The flickering light Of Histories Roots... The wonders held in Disbelieve..  When one treads in backwards Flicker.. Or the past..that peeks into.. A future, that was read as fiction.. So.... very long Ago... In the now...A disbelief.. How one could exist, With no television and a telephone Hanging on an Wall... Where you wait your turn in daily Gossip... Pages turn..in backwards glance.. As ink spills in forward Flips... Was a lesson learned, in gentle Grasp? Doubt forms, in flickering candles light.. Were the past or future stills in Wait... For the turning pages.. Not wrote.. As the elderly fade in sunsets rest.. The youth of dawn, fumble in the Rewrite... Where mistakes.. A learning .. Not erased .. The rain..follows with the Sunrise.. A New day... In flickering light... (c)Janice Fisher 02-29-2024 Photo credit to original owner Blog administrator ---Affaq Naibe
