hear the cher ry leaves drink in the rain , And from the sway ing boughs the My na sings ; A lone ly Maid an through the vine yards of Touraine, Sow ing cro cus while storm -cloud swift ly springs . “O kind rain,” she cries, “A mo ment stay , For ard u ous it is that I must toil a lone ; Let me but fin ish be fore you loose your play— Then pour your full ness when my work is done .
