Bang bang, like the thunder, fiercely ring,
Bang bang, like the thunder, fiercely ring, At tender buds that drink light, no mercy shown. Through fields of gold, a ruined peasant's sting, And streets where second hand wares are known. Before the moon, your harsh descent is made, Where healing springs and hope's resurgence lie. Neither infant's peace, nor kind soul's are swayed, As woes and wounds beneath your fury sigh. Over graves you strike where sacred light should be, And decimate the peace that should remain. No care you give, what eyes or beasts may see, But all must feel your heavy, harsh pain.
