Ode of love
Listen to Patti page's beautiful song / click here
I do profess my faith and my creed is love,
A tree of love its tender shades descends love
My God is love, who reigns from high above,
And made us all to dwell together in love
My prophet's love, who bids us neighbors care,
My mother’s tears, of love they gently flow,
My hamlet’s voice, in unity we share,
And I, a bard, through loving rhymes I show.
The stars that shine in yonder sky, they’re love,
The earth endures my faults, yet loves me still,
The birds in flight, they sing of love above,
And in their songs, love's tender voice they thrill.
Thus love surrounds, in all the world it’s found,
In every heart, let love alone be crowned.
