Mother Nature / Baby Tears

Image
Mother Nature / Baby Tears  A tender flower, chilled by the winter's bite, Whose mother, heaven claimed, in tender years. Lost warm care, a childhood dimmed by night, Mother nature responded to baby's tears. A shepherdess, far from the learning's light, The breezes of Dawn, her silent tutor, proved. The rustling leaves sang with the melody of night, A language felt, a knowledge deeply loved. Her young heart grew in Nature's love and dew.  An angel, unloved, in tranquil love hummed. Her art attuned to bird, breeze, and their hue Nature took its course, and she was stunned. And then alienated waif, thanked His majesty,  For serving an ill-fated thrown out by her family. -----Poet Affaq  #ForeverSonnets

Beneath the great Morus, slow steps take, Where Robin sings from lavender his soulful song. You too move towards those springs, shake  Your wings and with dear Robin go along. The pinkish buds may delight your longing eyes, So slowly walk, the heavenward appears bright, And robin's song fills the void in clear skies; His beloved too listens from the pine tonight. Pause, pen your thoughts on cherished scenes,  Some are lingering and some gently dance; Between robin and morus, create new dreams  In slow steps, for you and Florence. So walk, let nature's charms your soul enclose, And in every step, may a world of calm repose. ----Affaq

Cupidity, a raging fire's wild shocks, Spreads its blaze, blinding and fiercely bold. Each hour it expands, gaining the rocks, And nightly meals for gold are hastily sold. The champions of toil now must see, This plague of Cupidity devours our stores, In senate halls, markets, and academy. May justice's angels bring their saving power, Ay, sin did drag man from his blissful place, From Eden's grace to hell's infernal chain. Through veins it flows, a horror, crude and base, Mocking our peace with restless, bitter pain. O Lord of time, these deeds are dark and grim, Thus deliver us from Cupidity's cruel whim. ----Affaq
