Mystical Tome of Love

Image
Mystical Tome of Love  ----------------------------- Why is there bargaining in affection's glove? And repose's relish in life's shifting sand, my lord? Why, for some earthy pursuits, do we fall in love? Such love often concludes in spear and sword. And those who in love's mystical tome do look Surely, would find their eternity's pleasant time, A stress-free life's journey along the songbook, A decent life, a new home of grecian style. Dearest, settle where envy's no more than scent, Where blooms perfume the air in sweet delight, Where summer's breeze cradles birds content, And the stars above illuminate the silent night. Beneath the moon, let inspired words be heard, As slumber soothes in dreams, love's sweet chord. #Affaq 🌹 #Sonnets #MysticalLove #Poetry

Laughing lies in each fiber of my nature.

Image
The gentle and compassionate woman I am, Laughing lies in each fiber of my nature. Along with Adam's, and coming of Maryam, On gates of golden light and methinks; Every woman must uphold her moral self In times of pleasure and pain, a noble birth Nourish’s safe in my tender arms, a floral scent, My rainbow of hope, of love, and my mirth. Through the pages of human history, Model of my gallantry glitters like Estella I do love to dance with my own shady  As a mark of compassion for my new fella.  My bosom is always empathic and worthy  I rise, a phoenix, with unearthly beauty. ©Poet Affaq

The medallions of memory

Image
The medallions of memory  ------------------------------------------- Every grief we've suffered, or may suffer, for sure, But your absence has profoundly shaken us. Going by life's twists and turns, without fear, Is inevitably not less than an immortal verse. You have wandered in scattered passages Of our rainbow heart, and where ofcourse  No other substance, or even it's  shade, can surpass. Be nearer us, even yet, there is a long course  Steadily, it was something paradisiacal, Which one can cherish only in splendid heaven. Now in glances it's medallions, are visible, It appear as tides turn in favor of Aaron's miracle. Though far enough you're from us, who would part Our sufferance, except you, in this earth's universe. @poet Affaq 🌴 #Poetry #Sonnets #Blog #Blogger

To a vale of Joy

Image
--------------To a vale of Joy-------------- In life's brief bloom, smiles unfurl like buds, So far, sorrow lurks where once joy did flood. Mother's eyes, glary as deep corals glow, Now closed in rest, where angels softly go. Lullabies at twilight, a soothing melody, Memories linger, like shadows in reverie. Springtime lost, in the valleys we do roam, Seeking serenity far from the familiar home. Languish not, in dawn or dusk's fleeting light, For vigour will guide us through the darkest night. With steadfastness, we tread the winding track, To a vale of joy, where the sorrows lack. Though distant it may seem, the journey's clear, Towards lasting bliss, beyond each falling tear. ©Affaq

Healing muse of Shelly

Image
Upon my midnight restlessness, a dame appears, To me, in the murmur of the night, like an explorer. In the beginning, a bit confused, I did ignore her. Again, in a country island, she rose; I did admire Mercy Shelly, for assisting me in the divine acts On lukewarm evenings, so humble and pure. Was your presence, though I am immature. You rescued me from echoes of insane acts, That breathed o'er years nearby country yard She tells me about the harms of unhealthy food, Shelly has done her research on healthcare, hard Nutrition, AIDS, tabooed cuisine, and rosewood. On snacks, and vague pain. she adds, improper  Use of painkillers can be quite harmful To the human body, “the view like a marvel. Cuban green coffee, according to our scholar, Is greatly fruitful for the human brain” Then Shelly further says: that  tulip and poppy  Are cures for colds and coughs, and when  You need further help, take a course and …… ©Affaq

Give my spirit a glow of spring Breeze

Image
Confer my spirit the glow of the spring breeze, My corpse is on earth and eyes over the stars. This tender heart hang's in your loving arms. And, the mind engages in other puzzles; Seldom it returns valiantly from life's arenas, I’m a pilgrim and live for a certain purpose. What's the motive of my light existence? I aim to discover the veiled answers. My lord, extend your holy hand to succor me. Confer my spirit the glow of the spring breeze, So I can toil through the day for our well-being. I do follow the order of the rising heavens, And to withdraw is likewise a hebetude,  If so, it may not correspond my poetic mood. ©Affaq

A handshake

Image
In yester-week, a former friend I chanced to see, After decades gone by, perhaps twenty or three. His once-twisted locks now a snowy white hue, But dyed red, a hint of envy mounts in his view. Not I, but my old lady, remarked with a sigh, Recalling days, youth made me rose-red and spry. I recalled, when he jested at my imperial beard, As we met in the sunset bay, memories revered. Some habits cling tight, defying time's wave, After a concise handshake, he set forth on his stave. Likewise, we sailed toward the lake Victoria, Pardone, the impurity and sullage on its urban area  Made our mood off, save God we dwell in roughage,  This moon is in shock, for the sky is in landing stage. ©Poet Affaq 🌹
