To a vale of Joy

--------------To a vale of Joy--------------

In life's brief bloom, smiles unfurl like buds,

So far, sorrow lurks where once joy did flood.

Mother's eyes, glary as deep corals glow,

Now closed in rest, where angels softly go.

Lullabies at twilight, a soothing melody,

Memories linger, like shadows in reverie.

Springtime lost, in the valleys we do roam,

Seeking serenity far from the familiar home.

Languish not, in dawn or dusk's fleeting light,

For vigour will guide us through the darkest night.

With steadfastness, we tread the winding track,

To a vale of joy, where the sorrows lack.

Though distant it may seem, the journey's clear,

Towards lasting bliss, beyond each falling tear.
