A Herald Came Silently!

Ah! the tender breeze did

come to cheer- Me

Mutely and mystically! 

And I spake to her all my- heart, 

It's shivering chill, 

In the painful tears

And Ah! I did depart.

Then she told me her- heart 

It's shivering chill 

Nasty things of her foes.

And Ah, she did depart! 

As soon after she was 

Absent from-Me, 

A herald, came silently 

And magically-

And told Me, 

In a tender tune 

[ Be-vigilant and wakeful ]

There is a Lucifer 

Hurting your innocent love.

So you do- Suffer.....

By the morning! 

Ah! the tender breeze did 

come again to cheer-Me 

And spake to me her-heart 

I' remind her about the hearld

And she did smile! 

Then I' embrace, her rose pital 

And she said: 

O now I' understand
