Another Vale of Ecstasy

Image
Your early life's brief stage was ah so bright  As buds in bloom, the time when they awake. Then your gazes, like twin stars in tranquil night, Unmatched were those glows in their shake. But time moved on, springtime wan away, A fog like dimness wrapped your ringed eyes, Despite in grim times you stayed awake. It's heaven's decree after the fall, spring rises. O! heart weep not, be strong, take further steps  With steadfastness towards the  stream yacht, Another vale of cheer may come your way, it creeps Though distant, it holds greater ecstasy, start A new your pilgrim's path, for in each step lies  Hope’s ray, we expect you will give a surprise. ©Affaq

I bid farewell

Image
In a thriving oasis, love's sweet bloom unfurls, Two hearts intermingled, like pomaria fair, Together, united we stand along life's swirls. Each petal and perfume was yummy and rare. As the sunsets paint the lofty sky in pigments,  Our paths diverge, we have not any excuse. But, musings persist, like stars in midnight moments, Whatever's painted in our destiny, we can't refuse. Went apart, our reminiscences even yet abide, In the glens deep, in whispers of the breeze, Our affinity remain healthy, take my pride. Longing for twin flames, our hearts still please,  With gratitude, I bid farewell, cherished friend, You held me in your tender cradle until the end. ©Poet Affaq  #lovesonnets #MysticPoetry #Longing

An ode to the night

Walk gently over the hued shores of the Orbs, Regina at night, more neighborly to me. Lord's darling performs best on her course; Your eye-piece flashes angelic fairly. Overseeing me in my far-reaching way, There's peace in the night, dance of tides, Light on terra mater, bustle on broadway,  Bloom on Venus, evidently overall joyrides. Even with your flair and fondness, together With radiance, there's a stir in the clock of time. Your glance at night's solitudes pierces my intellect, Shake up my rhymes to perfection and sublime  The day can't prosper without your back and aid, From great poets, your praises I often heard. ©Poet Affaq  #poetry #sonnets #lyrics
