Pieces Goddess

Some folks say, "The night is peace's goddess."

And seizes all the charms of the dusky eve, 

Whatever lies in the dales, deserts, and waters is God-sent.

And He, "lord of the universe, is begotten by none."

Well, if the night is peace, why is it not for harlots? 

Or for the night thieves and for the wolves, 

Owls, bats, and hyenas, they move in darkness.

And thereupon giving a moment's silence to all of us

For inner peace, ah, what the heaven brings,

Is sheer truth, behind God's every creation there is 

Specific mystery, so awe, out of tiny things 

Sweet bells jingle if you show me integrity.

Then, naturally, I am able to give you the kiss of peace.
