Pretty lamb...

Still the Eid-ul-zuha; is miles away,

It's perfect time of cleaning and sewing,

Ovas! has brought a young lamb in latter May. 

Soon the festival of sacrifice is occuring.

Ovas's young lamb is quite handsome,

With pride they all call him the beloved..... 

It's so lovely, his younger brother Kasam 

Will take him to picnic on green pasture. 

His sister Zaiton! been giving him eggs,

Cookie's and cheese to eat in morn and Eve, 

And green maple leaves, she also wash's his hairs.

When he is playing alone, she laughs at him in her sleeve

It's amazing, the pretty lamb has learnt 

To live with humans, and leaps up all the day

The main reason behind this attachment

Is divine, it will remain there untill the day of Eid

When all kids will walk behind him to Altar 

And then pretty lamb; will be slaughtered to perform

Sunnah of Abraham and Sarah, 

Who entered, 

In vow with God, that they'll sacrifice their beloved son.....
