The man who poisoned the snake
Poet: RICHMOND WINGA
Country: Malawi
City : Lilongwe
Rarely could it sight in the Foliages
Even though its colour resembled the forage
Plenty times would it coil for security
It sometimes pretended to be dying while alive
Grasshoppers could roll themselves in its mouth
Raged its head into a gentle shabby hole
It was against the night of the heavy darkness
Hardly its pre-molars and canines sharpened
He who drew water from the Atlantic ocean
Reckless prolonged the flight fire to uncover the page
Many words went off, Hardly sympathy he felt
He who poisoned the innocent python
Chased its nest, fired its long fabulous tail
Deeds of melancholic wrath swept the serpent
Cleared the humus, cleared all green anacondas
Waved with a left hand side, poisoned with a right hand side.
