Poem on !
The month was Summer and wind was cool
Fanning the pedestrians at the winding route
A wandered bird of the Summer pool,
Beating his wings for the bed enthuse.
Nearby a Girl on her window pane,
Sang her title song "pinned hopes on"
The night grew longer with the rain,
What trees?, what roof tops?,
will take his dwell.
Along the stars illumin depart from the royal bethel
And jasmine too asleep in her bouquet,
The wandered Bird beating his
wings fell
On the ground and saddned himself,
She kind hearted Girl felt his breast pain.
How sweetned is that suffer which solitude brings !
She opened half of her window and light came brief,
That revealed the confused fowl his way upright to her pillow,
And pearly eyed Bird of the summer pool so sad,
Rendered thanks to her and felt very glad,
Then she replied with a merry laugh
"O sweet heart as like you I' live also alone"...
